8 Bashams ~ Memories to Cherish

I walked into the room and saw Canberra sitting on her potty this morning. We have been working with her for about 4 days now and decided to get her a pink "soft" potty to sit on rather than her hard blue one. She loves it. She has been doing great! And I must say it's been very nice not to have to change a poopy diaper these past few days! The first day was the hardest, she had several accidents but they got less as the day went on and the next day she only had one little one on her way to the potty. We are bad and move the potty around to where she is in the house. We probably should keep it in the bathroom, but what ever. I'd rather have it around instead of cleaning up pee on the carpet because she didn't make it in time. Also, if she sees her potty where ever she is then she's thinking about it right?? Opposite of out of sight out of mind. She sees it, it's on her mind. It's been working beautifully so far! She even got to pick out her own little undies!


And since I hadn't gotten a picture of Seth in a long time (other than his birthday) I thought I'd take some of him to post.




Well, here is my tree as of May 19th. Well, it doesn't look like this anymore. We got about 5 days of horrible winds and yes, it blew them all off! I have about a dozen flowers on each cluster now. Looks NOTHING like this anymore. Thanks a lot wind! At least I took a picture of it 2 days before they all got blown off! I just love this tree! It will be better next year or even this fall when it's supposed to bloom again. That is if our July monsoons don't bring any micro burst winds and blow them off again! My orange bell flower bush, that I am trying to get back into a tree is starting to get full of flowers now. (the wind broke that one right in the middle 2 years ago, it's on the mend, I'm making it into more of a multi-trunk patio tree) I will get a picture of that when it's more in full boom and then a picture what I get to see out of my window every morning when I open my curtains. I love my flowers.


Gotta love Batman! Zander was sure having a blast with it on! Thanks to Seth and Canberra who decided he should be wearing the costume. He was livin it up!
