Shane had a great 9th Birthday. He wanted a turquoise cake with turquoise frosting. I can't believe he is 9 already! When we went to Mt. Lemmon to play in the snow, it was very windy which made it super super cold! So the babies didn't stay out very long. I went down the big slope with Shane. Yah. That was me screaming the entire time. The guy who took the video was drunk (I found out later) So you missed the part where we literally FLEW airborne over the hump at the bottom and into a bush UPSIDE DOWN and BACKWARDS! To say the least it was pretty darn scary. But fun. The twins Birthday went very well. Gavin did NOT like the balloons so we had to take them all down. Camia did well until her poor little thumbs froze in her ice-cream cupcake. She got blisters from that a few days later. I felt SO bad! I'm glad she loved the frosting at least! They had fun and it was a nice party for them. Updates: Shane ~ Got into Basis Charter School for 5th grade. Loves Cub Scouts. Is an excellent artist! He is getting his black belt in karate this month. Doing fabulous in school. Is a great help around the house and with the babies. Seth ~ Loves making paper airplanes. Is doing great in school also. Seth loves to write stories and draw bugs and animals. He likes to collect caterpillars from the back yard or what ever bug he can find. He loves karate as well and loves to give the babies hugs. Canberra ~ gets to be in her first ballet recital in May, she's going to be a little mouse. She is FABULOUS in ballet. She also loves her karate! She loves to color and is doing very well reading. She loves going to pre-school. Zander ~ is learning his letters and sounds really well at pre-school. He is getting thin and tall. Not a baby anymore. He plays well with Canberra most of the time and is getting better with the babies. Camia ~ Walking, starting to climb on things, repeating words, sleeps through the night, happy happy happy, loves people, she is a very outgoing little girl. Very independent. Gavin ~ I bit more reserved, is repeating words, walking, CLIMBING on everything! Loves to give hugs. Sleeps through the night. He is such a sweet little guy. He is very brave too. They are starting to give each other hugs now. It's so cute. Daniel ~ is done with school. WHEW! About time. He is doing his residency now. One of these days he'll be able to find the time to record his music. Me ~ well, I'm just working out and trying to get to a size I am happy with. I have lost over 30 lbs since I had the babies. I've gone from a size 14 to a 7. My goal is to be a slip on 5. Perhaps in a few more months.
